About
The Tecumseh Fire Department was established in 1893 and serves The City of Tecumseh and a Rural Fire District outside the city limits. Protecting approximately 8,000 citizens living in 53 square miles, we have 4 career personnel and 18 volunteers with a ISO rating of 5. Station 1 is located at 109 W Washington St, Station 2 is located on the cities northside at 114 Church Dr. Dispatching services are conducted by the Pottawatomie County E-911 Center operating on the State of Oklahoma 800mhz Motorola Radio System.

The Tecumseh Fire Department is tasked with providing a wide range of services to our citizens. Our personnel pride themselves in delivering the highest quality of service by providing not only fire suppression, but also:
• Emergency Medical First Response
• Motor Vehicle Accidents
• Technical Rescue Operations
• Haz-Mat Operations Response
• Fire Prevention Education Program
